Day 3: Blog Name Meaning

I actually have two blogs. This one My Life is literally about me and my life. I know so creatively named! So there's not a lot of background to the name. However, my second blog which I haven't actually written in yet is called Lessons of a Teenage Girl. With this blog I hope to save other people by sharing lessons that i've already learned.

On another note I failed my blog challenge. Again! But i'm still going to do 30 posts :)

My eblogger app on my phone has not wanted to load for the past couple of days so here we are at day 2.
The challenge is to put your ipod on shuffle and list the first twelve  songs that play.
1~ Have Faith in Me -A Day to Remember
2~ Me and Mrs. Jones -Michael Buble
3~ Crazy Bitch -Buck Cherry
4~ Locked Out of Heaven -Bruno Mars
5~ Vibes So Hot -Principle Ahn
6~ How to Save a Life -The Fray
7~ Memories -David Guetta
8~ Felt Good on My lips -Tim Mcgraw
9- Hey Jude -The Beatles
10~ Honestly -Kelly Clarkson
11~Die Young -Kesha
12~ Grandpa - The Judds
That's quite the interesting mix! Now y'all probably think i'm crazy. I tend to connect memories to songs so a lot of what I listen to has a story behind it good or bad.

Day 1: 10 Random Facts About Yourself

Ok, so from a lack of interesting topics I didn't complete my last thirty day blog challenge. But this time I am coming up with the list as something catches my eye and interests me. If nothing else this should be interesting. Right?
This might be kind of fun to try and dig up 10 things about myself.

1~ In the last two months I have started playing water polo. I absolutely love the sport and my team!
2~ I love to travel! I get to spend  two weeks touring Brazil for World Youth Day this Summer. To say the least I am stoked!
3~ I want to live outside the US for a few years when I am older.
4~ I am a down to earth person, typically i'm very rational about things.
5~ When i'm upset I hate telling people about it. I hate burdening them with my problems.
6~ I am my own worst critic.
7~ Generally I don't let things people say get to me.
8~ I overthink everything. Thoughts linger in my head for a long time before I let them go.
9~ I love late night walks. It's just about the best stress reliever I know of. It gives me the chance to think without a lot of distraction.
10~ I love music! Songs can have so much meaning behind them. I tend to intertwine songs and memories.

There you go 10 things that you may or may not know about me. Hopefully you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Blogging?

Blogging? I don't know if it's a good idea considering i'm at a loss for words and my tab key is not working. Maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't be doing this. As irrelevant as a tab key sounds, when you need to indent a paragraph and can't, well I think you see my point. I never thought that i'd have a blog. On second thought, a few years back I created a blog. Yes just created it. No pictures, no words, no nothing. So here's a second shot so at least I can say that I tried!

My name is Melanie I am 15 years old and a Freshman in high school. I was born and raised in Utah in a very small town. You know it's a small town when you hear the kids at school talking about what they did over the weekend and the most adventurous thing on the list was going to Wal-Mart! No I really do love my town but just to give you an idea we have 3 main grocery stores, 2 movie theatres (one of which only shows 2 movies at a time), and last but not least 1 bowling alley. We are about thirty minutes from any mall or large city. I have four siblings. Justin is my older brother he is 19, I have triplet brother Martin, Mick, and Matthew who are 12. My parents are divorced and my mom is re-married to my step dad Russ which adds four more siblings to the list. Kimber who is 18, Dacoda 15, Oakley 14, and Brody 9. Which brings us to a grand total of 9 kids. Which seems insane but I wouldn't trade my life for anything! I couldn't imagine life without a big family.
